I’m not really into the whole producer battle thing but this one has got $$$ and a trophy involved (click the flyer for more details). HaHaHa. No this should be pretty fun. I’m going to try to bring all new joints, so we’ll see how it goes. I’m also debating whether or not to get in the Red Bull Big Tune Battle again this year. I told myself I wasn’t going to do it after last years finals, but I’ll probably end up making that into another flipped coin decision. If I do, decide to do it, I will be at the D.C. venue for sure.

The video for Naturel’s first hit single “Resurrect” is premiering this Tuesday. I had a blast on set working with a brilliant team headed by my man Phil. You might be able to catch me in a few shots here and there. From what I’ve seen the video is gonna be CRAZY. The song itself is an Instant classic and I think you can hear it on Naturel’s Myspace. If not you’ll have to wait for the upcoming EP, ‘Somebody Up There Loves Me’. The EP will drop on November 17th as a FREE online release.

The finals are coming up and I’ve been grinding hard trying to come up with some Heat. There’s a ton of incredible producers featured this go round so we’ll see how it goes down. Not to mention, both Just Blaze and De La Soul are gonna be there holding it down. It’s gonna be one hell of a show. Seattle, WATCH OUT! My only hang up is that both Reason 4.0 and Leopard are dropping just before the show. There’s no way I’m risking that potential hardware crash nightmare before I get out to Seattle. OS X will have to wait.
