In the meantime, I found a blog that has some pretty good tutorials on how to do common tasks in Reason, like setting up Templates, and adding FX, tightening up drums, etc. All supported with images. For a while I had been re-applying combinator FX for every Reason session. Obviously this was KILLING my computer’s memory. Then I had the bright idea to record the drums out and re-load them in as pre-effected sounds — don’t know why I didn’t think of that in the first place.
